Cory Spencer, 27, was found dead in north Houston in the early morning hours of May 14, 2011. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was discovered near a parked vehicle in a residential neighborhood after reports of gunfire. The Houston Police Department’s Homicide Division processed the scene and canvassed for witnesses and security footage, but no immediate suspects were identified.
Detectives reviewed available video and interviewed neighbors, but few witnesses came forward and information was limited. The case has been revisited periodically by the Cold Case Squad, yet leads grew cold and progress slowed. The Homicide Division has urged anyone with information to contact investigators.
If anyone knew Cory, saw activity in that neighborhood that morning, or has security footage from May 14, 2011, the investigators would welcome a tip.
