Michael Williams was an 18-year-old Houston resident who was fatally shot at his home on Keegans Ridge on June 10, 2010, at about 6:30 a.m. He answered a knock at the front door and spoke briefly with an unidentified man at the doorway before being shot in the chest. Michael was taken to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital and was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Houston Police Homicide Division Sergeants R.D. Chandler and W.M. Bush said they were questioning a person of interest, but no formal charges had been filed. Witnesses helped establish the sequence of events, yet the shooter’s identity and motive remained unclear, and investigators were trying to determine whether the attack was targeted or the result of a random dispute.

If anyone has information about who knocked on that door or about Michael’s movements that morning, please share what you know with investigators.
