Donald L. Scott Jr., 49, was found dead at his Fort Worth home on March 1, 2009, with injuries investigators said were consistent with a violent assault. Authorities ruled the death a homicide and conducted a careful scene examination while interviewing acquaintances, neighbors and others who might have had recent contact with him.
The violent nature of the attack led detectives to consider a personal motive, though they also explored the possibility of a home invasion. Few eyewitnesses and limited forensic leads hindered progress, and information about Scott’s personal life did not point clearly to a suspect or motive.
Does anyone who knew Donald or was in his Fort Worth neighborhood around March 1, 2009, have information that could help?
