Charles Jackson was 22 when he was fatally shot in Fort Worth, Texas, in the early morning hours of November 1, 2008. The shooting happened near East Berry Street and Riverside Drive as Jackson walked home from a nearby convenience store; an unknown assailant approached and shot him multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Fort Worth Police Department’s Homicide Unit investigated, canvassing the neighborhood and reviewing surveillance from nearby businesses, but leads were scarce and the case grew cold. Crime Stoppers of Tarrant County later offered a reward for tips that could lead to an arrest, and Jackson’s family has made public appeals for information.

If anyone was in the East Berry Street and Riverside Drive area the morning of November 1, 2008, or has any information that could help resolve this unsolved homicide, please come forward.
