Freddie Ybarra, 36, was found fatally shot on July 20, 2007, in the 1100 block of West Mulberry Avenue in San Antonio. He was discovered lying in the street, covered in blood, with an apparent gunshot wound. Law enforcement classified the death as a homicide and sought help from Crime Stoppers as investigators worked the scene.

No suspects were identified initially and the investigation eventually went cold, but the San Antonio Police Department and Crime Stoppers have continued to appeal for tips. Authorities have asked the public for information about possible suspects and any vehicle connected to the crime, offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.
