Enrique Colorado-Godine, 26, was shot while sitting in his car at his apartment complex on Algonquin Street in Houston on February 19, 2007. Around 11:50 p.m. three unknown men approached and attempted to rob him while he was listening to the radio. He was shot in the head and an undisclosed amount of money was taken. Victims were taken to Ben Taub General Hospital, where Colorado-Godine succumbed to his injuries on February 23, 2007.

Witnesses said three men fled in a tan SUV, possibly a Toyota Sequoia, that had been seen parked outside the complex before the shooting. The Houston Police Department asked the public for help and Crime Stoppers offered a reward for information that could identify those responsible. Little else is publicly known about the motive or the suspects.
