Patricia Ann Castillo was 21 when she disappeared from East Houston on June 1, 1991. She was last seen on Delmar Street near her grandmother’s house and was remembered by family as a lively young woman who loved to dance and spend time with them.

A skull recovered near Port Houston Street, about five miles from where she vanished, was later linked to Patricia. In August 2018 her remains were positively identified by DNA testing after a sample her sister submitted to the National Institute of Justice made the match possible. The cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma to the head; no other remains have been recovered and no arrests have been announced.

The family plans to relocate Patricia for a proper burial beside her father in Fulshear, Texas, and continues to seek justice. If anyone has information that could help identify her killer, please come forward.
