Angela Desiree Kelly was a 17-year-old high school senior from Pasadena, Texas, who was found murdered on March 28, 1979. A motorist discovered her body along the curb in the 7800 block of Red Bluff Road in the early morning hours. The Harris County Medical Examiner ruled her death a homicide; she had been strangled and her hands were bound behind her back with electrical wire. Dirt on her clothing indicated a violent struggle before she was left at the roadside.
Investigators conducted an extensive early probe with numerous interviews, and detectives in the Pasadena area have revisited the case over the years. Renewed interest has come with advances in DNA technology and media attention from outlets including ABC13.
If anyone knew Angela, remembers that stretch of Red Bluff Road in 1979, or has information that could help, please come forward.
