Crystal Soulier was 18 when she disappeared after leaving her job at the Telemark Lodge in Cable, Wisconsin, on October 1, 1996. Reports say her boyfriend dropped her off and she was left to find her own way home; she was not seen again after that evening.
Five months later, in March 1997, remains of a young woman were found in rural Rock County, Wisconsin. Those remains went unidentified until 2000, when forensic testing confirmed they were Crystal’s. The official cause of death has not been released publicly.
Investigators have noted similarities between Crystal’s case and the disappearance of another local teenager, Sara Anne Bushland; the two resembled one another and shared mutual acquaintances, and some have wondered whether the cases are connected. No arrests or publicly named suspects have been announced.
If anyone knew Crystal, Sara Anne, or their circle in late 1996, can you share information that might help connect the dots?
