Sheryl Sherry Parker was 41 when she disappeared from Fort Collins and was later found dead in July 1996. She checked into the Budget Host Motel in Del Camino on July 17, 1996 while separating from her husband. Her car was discovered abandoned in the motel parking lot. On July 26, 1996 her body was recovered from the St. Vrain River; the Weld County Coroner’s autopsy determined blunt force trauma was the cause of death and ruled it a homicide.

From the beginning investigators focused on her husband, Glenn Edward Ed Parker, who was identified as the primary suspect. He retained an attorney after Sheryl’s body was found and has consistently declined to be interviewed. Reports say he later remarried one of Sheryl’s close friends and remains in Weld County. The case eventually grew cold but stayed listed as a priority cold case for the Weld County Sheriff’s Office.

Does anyone who knew Sheryl, her movements in July 1996, or who was at the motel that week have any information to share with investigators?
