Dandre Jamal Paige and his companion Jekeria Osborn were shot and killed in broad daylight on November 21, 2019, at a busy intersection on Alabama Adventure Parkway near the I-20/59 interchange in Bessemer, Alabama. They were traveling together in a dark blue Chevrolet Malibu when someone fired from another vehicle; both sustained fatal gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene by Bessemer Fire and Rescue personnel.

Witnesses reported the victims’ car slowly moving after the shooting until a witness climbed in to stop it and found Paige in the passenger seat with severe injuries. Another witness saw a small, dark-colored sedan leaving the area heading southbound on Alabama Adventure Parkway. The Bessemer Police Department has investigated the double homicide but has struggled to identify suspects; investigators publicly said the case reached a standstill and no arrests have been announced. A reward was offered for information leading to arrest and conviction, and the motive has not been disclosed.

Did anyone in the Bessemer area see that dark-colored sedan or have information about who was in it?
