Walter Hilliard Gibson III, 39, died on November 7, 2021, after a domestic argument inside a residence at the Charter East Apartments on 15th Terrace Northeast in Center Point. He sustained stab wounds and was taken to Ascension St. Vincent’s East, where he was pronounced dead.

Reports indicate a suspect was arrested at the scene that same day. Kameisha Monique Johnson was reported to have been arrested and charged with murder, and a Jefferson County jail booking record shows a November 7, 2021 booking on that charge.
