Tamara Tami Pederson was a 20-year-old White/Caucasian woman from Palmer, Alaska who disappeared in early August 1982. When she fell out of touch, her family moved from Washington State to search Anchorage, posting fliers and pleading for leads, but initially found no trace of her.
Her disappearance matched the pattern later linked to Robert Hansen, who targeted women in Anchorage clubs with offers of paid photo shoots. After Hansen’s October 27, 1983 arrest and a subsequent confession, authorities recovered remains north of Anchorage; on April 29, 1984, Pederson’s remains were found about a mile and a half from the Old Knik Bridge and she was buried at Angelus Memorial Park in Anchorage.
If anyone knew Tamara’s routines, the venues she frequented, or has information about her last contacts in Anchorage, please share what you can.
