Willard Arent Bennett, 73, was last seen on November 12, 2013, in San Diego County while traveling from his home in Olympia, Washington, to spend the winter in California and Arizona. Bennett, known as Wil and described as a white male, 5 feet 10 inches and 170–185 pounds with white hair, blue eyes, eyeglasses or contacts and a scraggly beard, was driving a white 1994 Dodge V25 camper-style van with Washington plate WW06056. The last confirmed sighting placed him buying gas in eastern San Diego County. He was in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia and had told family he would keep in weekly phone contact; his daughter reported him missing after not hearing from him and noticing his bank card had not been used for weeks. The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department is handling the investigation.

The circumstances of his disappearance remain unclear and the case is unsolved. Did anyone in eastern San Diego County see Willard Bennett or his van in November 2013?
