Ronald Richard Morgan, 61, was found fatally shot on Lenox Lane in the Union Hill area near Somerville, Alabama, after a June 10, 2023 shooting. A woodworker and cabinet maker, Morgan was described as someone who enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles and horses, and spending time with friends.

On June 11, 2023, 33-year-old Charles Theodore Spears of Huntsville was arrested and charged with Morgan’s murder.
