William David Sanders, known as Bill, was 80 when he was last seen on June 25, 2020, at his residence in Shasta County. That day he spoke with his daughter by phone and asked her to pick him up; he has not been seen or heard from since. He is described as a white male, 5 feet 7 inches, 240 pounds, with gray hair, a gray mustache, and brown eyes, and he had hearing, vision and mobility problems and was diabetic.
William lived with his son, Daun Eric Sanders, in a trailer on property where they helped the owner with chores in exchange for rent. Two days after William’s disappearance, Daun allegedly shot three people in Shingletown; all three victims later died. Daun became the focus of a manhunt and was killed on July 1, 2020, after being struck by a vehicle on a freeway in Ontario. Investigators have said they suspect foul play in William’s disappearance and that he may be at risk, though authorities have not officially tied his disappearance directly to his son. A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information leading to William’s location.
Can anyone who knew William, his routines, or the trailer property around June 25, 2020, provide information to investigators?
