Tony Sysavanh, 31, was last seen May 16, 2017, in Trinity County, California, when he and three other men—Dan Nguyen, Johnson Nguyen, and Anesi Sauta—vanished after traveling north from Orange County. The four had left on May 15 in a rented silver 2015 Jeep Cherokee, California plate 7UGP903, and accounts differ on their purpose: visiting a friend, seeking agricultural work, or looking at property. Anesi Sauta called his wife on May 16 saying they had arrived; phone records and witnesses place them in the Barry Creek area that day. The group’s phones later pinged near Stockton on May 18 and 19, but the rented Jeep has never been recovered. Foul play is suspected and the Trinity County Sheriff’s Department is investigating. Tony is described as a Laotian male, black hair and eyes, 6 feet tall, 185 pounds, with numerous tattoos on his face, head, chest and arms.

If anyone saw the Jeep with plate 7UGP903 or remembers the men in Trinity County or near Stockton around those dates, please share what you know.
