Song Im Joseph was 20 when she vanished from her home on Bay Road in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, on June 8, 1975. She had moved to the United States in November 1974 and was married to an American serviceman, Alton Edward Joseph. Her disappearance is considered suspicious because she left all personal belongings behind, including her passport and visa, and there is no evidence she ever returned to South Korea.

Neighbors and investigators learned she did not have access to a vehicle and her Social Security number has not been used since she was last seen. Friends say she had complained of being followed by a man who spoke Korean. Alton Joseph reported an argument that morning, said he went to work, and waited two days before notifying police, claiming he thought she had gone to a friend’s house. Four days after her disappearance he reenlisted and returned to South Korea. He has a criminal record in Massachusetts and New Hampshire and a 2001 federal conviction related to stolen explosives; investigators later identified two suspects but no charges were filed.

Does anyone have information about Song Im Joseph, her movements in Rehoboth Beach in June 1975, or the people she mentioned being followed by?
