I'm curious if anyone knows more about the car chase aspect of Leon Davenport's disappearance. From what I've gathered, he was driving a leased silver 2008 Mazda 5 truck, and law enforcement ended the pursuit after he crossed into Maryland. Does anyone have insight into why the chase was terminated? Was it purely a jurisdictional issue, or were there other factors? Considering this happened in 2009, I'm wondering how these pursuits were typically handled back then. It's odd that his car was later found in Virginia without any signs of foul play. Knowing more about the car chase might provide some context to his sudden and puzzling disappearance.
