In the early morning hours of March 4, 2021, a shooting on the 4100 block of Abrams Drive in Millbrook, Alabama left 27-year-old Lewis Lucas mortally wounded. Officers found Lucas with a gunshot wound; he was taken first to Prattville Baptist Emergency Room, then transferred to Baptist South, where he died following surgery.

Millbrook detectives treated the incident as a homicide and processed the scene for evidence. Police said the investigation pointed to a robbery motive and they increased patrols in the neighborhood afterward. The next day, a 25-year-old man from Prattville, Ki-Juan Wyatt, turned himself in and was arrested and charged in connection with the robbery and murder.

Who in the Millbrook area might have seen activity on Abrams Drive that night or who knew Lucas’s movements in the hours before the shooting?
