Kendall Sprinkle, 31, was one of two men fatally shot in the small fishing community of Coden, Alabama, on May 15, 2020. The other victim was 25-year-old Nhat Tran. Authorities arrested 31-year-old Shane Marceau the following day; he was charged with two counts of capital murder in connection with the killings.
Court records show related federal proceedings: by April 2021 Marceaux (also identified as Shane Khanh Duy Marceaux) received a 63-month federal prison sentence on a charge, with another count dismissed, and a final order of forfeiture for firearms and ammunition was entered in May 2021. How those federal actions linked to the state capital murder case, and the final outcome of the killings, has not been widely reported.
If anyone knew Kendall or has information about what happened in Coden on May 15, 2020, please come forward.
