Quadarius Lamar Long was 21 when he was fatally shot on June 26, 2018, in the 600 block of Judkins Court in Tuskegee, Alabama. The Tuskegee Police Department opened an immediate investigation and initially asked the public for information as no arrests were announced in the days following the killing.
Investigative developments continued into the summer. On August 6, 2018, authorities arrested two men in connection with Long’s death: 47-year-old Robert Reynolds Jr. and 30-year-old George Black. Both were charged with felony murder. At the time of his arrest, Reynolds was already in federal custody on unrelated drug charges.
The community lost a young life, and the case moved into the criminal process with those charges. If anyone knew Quadarius, witnessed the shooting on Judkins Court, or has information that could help, please come forward to the Tuskegee Police Department.
