Justin Eugene Twymon was 19 when he was killed by gunfire in Talladega, Alabama, on January 8, 2018. A former Talladega High School student who later attended Jacksonville State University, his death deeply affected the small community and his family.

Nearly two years after the killing, in December 2019, Talladega law enforcement announced the arrest of 42-year-old Christopher Lashawn Twyman of Sylacauga on a murder charge; he was also held for a parole violation.

No information about later court dates or the outcome of the murder charge is available in those accounts. Does anyone have verified information or memories that could clarify who was responsible for Justin’s death?
