Kendrick Stokes was 30 and living in Shorter, Alabama when he was reported missing on November 7, 2017, along with his cousin, 29-year-old Edward Reeves (known as Bambino Gold). The two were last seen in Montgomery, and families launched a search that ended in tragedy when remains were found for both men in Macon County on consecutive days. Reeves’s remains were recovered November 17, 2017, in a wooded area off a county road; Stokes’s body was located the next day about four miles away.
Investigators concluded both were victims of a double homicide and that the bodies had been placed at those locations after being killed elsewhere; the remains showed exposure to the elements for some time. Multiple law enforcement agencies worked the case, a reward was offered, and a person interviewed in 2018 was later not considered a person of interest, but no arrests have been announced and the investigation has gone cold.
Who has information that could help bring justice for Kendrick Stokes?
