On October 25, 2017, 22-year-old Ladarious DeVante Lymon was found dead of gunshot wounds inside a vehicle on Airport Road near Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Greenville, Alabama. Another 22-year-old, Ja'von Banks, was beside him and also died of gunshot wounds. The Butler County Sheriff’s Office, Greenville Police Department, and the State Bureau of Investigation opened a double homicide probe.

Ladarious was born February 17, 1995, and lived in Greenville. Investigators followed several leads but have not identified a suspect. Authorities sought public help; in April 2018 the governor announced a $5,000 reward that was later increased to $10,000 with help from Central Alabama CrimeStoppers. The investigation remained active with no arrests announced.

If anyone knew Ladarious or Ja'von or has information about what happened on Airport Road that night, please come forward.
