Antonio Dewayne Burl was 35 when he was fatally shot in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on the evening of Wednesday, September 6, 2017. Local law enforcement opened an investigation into the shooting and worked to reconstruct the events that led to his death.

Authorities later identified and arrested three people believed to be connected to Burl’s killing.
