Harry James Kostick, 59, was last seen at his Lincoln Avenue home in Endicott, New York, in September 2014. Family members reportedly had contact with him in October or November 2014, but he was never heard from again and did not return to his residence. At the time he disappeared he was described as 6 feet tall and about 230 pounds, with no known medical conditions.
Investigators later developed evidence that his son, Shawn M. Kostick, caused Harry’s death at the Lincoln Avenue home between September 1 and October 3, 2014. Prosecutors said Shawn wrote fraudulent checks totaling $2,983 from his father’s account and threatened witnesses after the death. In January 2020 Shawn pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter, admitting he killed his father during a fight with the intent to cause serious physical injury, and received a ten-year sentence to begin after completion of an unrelated sentence. Harry Kostick’s body has never been found.
Does anyone have information about Harry’s last known movements in Endicott or any sightings of him after September 2014?
