Rose Marie Timperley, 20, vanished from a care home in Okmulgee, Oklahoma in the early morning hours of February 2, 2016. Staff last saw her at 2:30 a.m.; she had gone to bed around 10:00 p.m. the night before but had been getting up intermittently. A staff check at 4:00 a.m. found her locked room empty after access was gained through an adjoining bathroom. The room window was open and some of her belongings were scattered across the yard.
Rose is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, about 120 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was believed to be wearing a gray t-shirt, pink pajama pants with the character Tweety Bird, and tall tan cowboy boots. She is a vulnerable individual living with developmental disabilities, high-functioning autism and schizophrenia, with the mental capacity of a thirteen-year-old and a need for daily medication she did not have when she disappeared. Her medications had recently been adjusted, causing delusions, and she had told staff about an Uncle Charles who was supposedly going to pick her up for a funeral; investigators could not confirm that person’s identity.
Her disappearance is classified as endangered missing and her whereabouts remain unknown. Did anyone ever hear from Rose after February 2, 2016, or know who Uncle Charles might have been?
