Wesley Shannon Taylor, Jr., was 22 and from Cullman, Alabama when he was killed on the evening of March 12, 2016. Hill allegedly lured Taylor to a residence on County Road 1101 in Corinth and had a 12-gauge shotgun staged outside a bedroom door.
Inside the home, Hill reportedly directed Taylor into the bedroom, followed him, and fired a single blast into the back of Taylor’s head, killing him instantly. Hill then called 911 and waited for police. He was arrested and charged with murder, later pleading guilty and receiving a 40-year prison sentence; the plea included over $13,000 in restitution to the family and the Alabama Crime Victims Compensation Commission.
What details about the night of March 12 might help clarify why Hill targeted Taylor rather than confronting the person he was reportedly angry about?
