Corey Dixon was 31 when he was shot and killed in Prichard, Alabama, on the evening of January 13, 2015. The initial shooting was upgraded to a homicide investigation; another man, Chavis Sanders, was wounded in the same incident and survived, though Sanders was killed a month later in an apparently separate double homicide. Investigators said they were looking into whether the two violent episodes were linked.

By March 2015 Dixon’s murder remained the only unsolved homicide in Prichard from the previous year. No suspects or arrests have been publicly announced and the case has grown cold, leaving his family without answers.

If anyone knew Corey Dixon or has information about the January 13 shooting, please come forward with what you remember.
