LaBarron Rice was 18 when he was shot and killed in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on December 30, 2012. The initial investigation did not immediately identify any suspects, and the case grew cold as no arrests were made and no individuals were publicly named in the years that followed.

In early 2020 the Governor of Alabama issued a proclamation offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever murdered Rice.

Whoever knew LaBarron, was in Tuscaloosa around December 30, 2012, or has information that could help explain what happened is asked to come forward.
