Francis Frank J. Sidoti was 38 when he was found shot to death in his Steel Hill home in Sanbornton, New Hampshire, on November 21, 1977. An autopsy determined the cause of death as gunshot wounds to the head. Despite extensive investigations, the case remains unsolved.

The New Hampshire Department of Justice continues to list Sidoti’s killing among active cold cases and is seeking information through its Cold Case Unit. The case has appeared in media coverage over the years as efforts to identify a suspect and bring justice for the family continue.
