Dagoberto Buddy Lopez Jr was 22 when he was found dead in an apartment in Nampa, Idaho, on January 6, 2018. Found alongside 21-year-old Esiel Jesus Oseguera, both men died of multiple gunshot wounds; investigators treated the incident as a double homicide. The woman who lived at the South Maple Street residence reported returning that morning and discovering the two bodies, neither of whom she claimed to know.
Police said they did not believe the killings were random and thought the victims had some connection to the apartment, but the exact nature of that connection was not clear. The department also told the public it did not believe there was an ongoing threat, and it sought tips; no arrests or suspect identifications were publicly announced in the period following the killings. Family members remember Lopez Jr as charismatic and easy-going and say he was not involved in gang activity.
Does anyone have information about who might have been at the South Maple Street apartment around January 6, 2018?
