I've been following the disappearance of Hector Lino Mendez and the other three men since it first made the news in 2019. One thing that really puzzles me is the distress call from the "WEPA." They reportedly radioed in mechanical problems near Icacos Cay just before disappearing. It's concerning how quickly they vanished without a trace! Was it foul weather, a sudden accident, or did something else happen in those waters? The fact that the tow boat couldn't find any sign of the vessel or its occupants even after just 30 minutes has raised so many questions in my mind. Did anyone here experience something similar or have insights into what might have happened in the area around that time? I'm hoping someone might have noticed something or has ideas we can discuss to better understand this situation.
