Terrance Jeremiah RiShea Frisby, a 20-year-old from Georgetown, Delaware, was shot and killed after answering a knock at an apartment door on the night of February 27, 2023. Police say a woman knocked, Frisby let her in, and a male intruder then forced the door open and opened fire. Frisby was taken to a hospital and died of multiple gunshot wounds. He had been visiting the apartment and was not a resident.

The Delaware State Police Homicide Unit later took over the investigation. Within days authorities identified two suspects: 24-year-old Jaron Curtis of Dagsboro and 61-year-old Kevin Stone of Georgetown. Curtis was arrested in Maryland on an out-of-state fugitive warrant on March 3, 2023, and charged with first-degree murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and second-degree conspiracy. Stone, who was already in custody at Sussex Correctional Institution, was charged with first-degree murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and held on a $1,060,000 cash bond.

Police releases did not publicly identify the woman who knocked or state that she was charged, nor did they provide a clear motive. Did anyone in the area see activity at the Dunbarton Apartments that night or know why Frisby might have been targeted?
