Dylan Carter, 21, was found inside a home on Canyon Terrace Drive in Flagstaff on October 13, 2024, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound. Police responding to a shooting call discovered Carter’s body inside the residence and encountered a 20-year-old man, Philip Green, unharmed outside the home.

Green was arrested and booked into the Coconino County Jail on a manslaughter charge as the primary suspect in Carter’s death. After being released on bond, Green failed to appear for a scheduled court hearing and subsequently left the United States for Germany, creating an international dimension to the case and complicating efforts toward resolution.
