William Bill Kelley McCutchan, 53, was shot and killed in Sierra Vista, Arizona, on June 22, 2024, following what police described as a road rage incident. The confrontation began after a two-vehicle collision around 4:05 p.m. at North 7th Street and Raymond Drive. McCutchan had reportedly just left American Legion Post 52 before the crash.

Pierre reportedly exited his vehicle, blocked McCutchan’s car and, as McCutchan attempted to back away, fired multiple shots that struck and killed him. McCutchan was found dead in the driver’s seat when officers arrived; Pierre was taken into custody and booked on one count of first-degree murder. Pierre’s juvenile daughter was reportedly in his car during the incident. McCutchan was a third-generation Arizona native, a veteran of the Marine Corps and Army, a retired Fort Huachuca contractor and an active member of the VFW and American Legion.
