Amelia Napoli, 42, of Irvington, New Jersey, was reported missing after she left for a routine trip to a local supermarket on June 14, 2026. When she did not return after a couple of hours, family reported her missing to the Irvington Police Department.
Investigators traced a ping from her cell phone to Springfield Avenue in Irvington; officers searched the area but found no sign of Amelia or her belongings. A later ping placed the same phone in the area of Manhattan Avenue in the Bronx, New York, indicating the phone — and possibly Amelia — had moved a significant distance from her home. There has been no communication from Amelia since she left for the store.
What might explain the phone’s movement from Irvington to the Bronx, and did anyone in either area see Amelia that afternoon?
