Amber Simpson, 41, was reported missing from Kansas City, Missouri, in the late spring of 2026. She is a white female, brown hair and brown eyes, about five feet two inches and 120 pounds. Authorities put out public appeals in early June as the case drew attention.

Official accounts disagree on Amber’s last contact. The Kansas City Police Department’s June 9, 2026 notice says she was last seen May 27, 2026 near Ashland Square Park around Kensington Avenue and East 23rd Street. The Missouri State Highway Patrol lists an earlier last contact of May 3, 2026 in the area of West 9th Street and Jefferson Street. Reports also differ on what she was wearing; that detail remains unclear.

The Kansas City Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit and the Missouri State Highway Patrol are both involved and have asked the public for any information. Did anyone in Kansas City see Amber or recognize either May sighting location in late spring 2026?
