Amber Joy Patton was 34 and a U.S. Army veteran living in Chandler, Arizona when she was killed on the night of September 19, 2020. She returned home from a late shift at a car wash shortly before 11 p.m. and was followed into her garage by two teenagers who had been using a stolen vehicle. Inside the house investigators found a chaotic scene: her backpack and fast-food meal dumped in the hallway, bullet casings in the laundry room and garage, and Patton shot and left on the bedroom floor.

Her roommate found her dead the next morning and her car was missing; the vehicle was later recovered crashed near Florence. Detectives linked her killing to a two-month crime spree across the East Valley that included another murder, multiple shootings, kidnappings, carjackings and armed robberies. Two teen suspects from Tempe and Phoenix were arrested and charged in the multi-count indictment that included Patton’s murder.

Does anyone have information about Amber’s final movements in Chandler that night or about the stolen car before it was found near Florence?
