Steven Maxwell, 14, was reported missing from Frostproof, Florida, on August 15, 2026. He is described as having brown hair, blue eyes, standing five feet, five inches tall and weighing about 120 pounds. Family and the community say he was a familiar face in the small Polk County town.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office says Steven was last seen getting into a white SUV; no make, model or description of the occupants has been released. Beyond that single vehicle detail, public information is sparse and investigators have provided little else about the circumstances of his disappearance.

Steven’s family and neighbors remain without answers and continue to hope for news. If anyone in Frostproof or the surrounding area saw Steven on or after August 15, 2026, or has information about a white SUV in the area that day, please come forward.
