Gayle Anne Schneider, 53, left Tucson for Stanfield, Pinal County, on June 7, 2026, to visit a male acquaintance and never returned. Public reports also show she has used the name Gayle Santangelo. Family members say she took a Greyhound to the Eloy area and was expected to use a rideshare to reach Stanfield; she stayed at the acquaintance’s residence but later left and was believed to be heading toward a nearby Circle K convenience store. The exact last sighting date is unclear, with June 7 and June 8 both reported.
Schneider does not drive, her phone was turned off after she left the residence, and her family is especially worried because she is insulin-dependent and reportedly had low blood sugar before departing. Descriptions list her at about 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches and 115 pounds, with red-blonde or red and blonde hair, greenish-brown eyes, and distinctive tattoos including a cherry blossom on her right thigh and stylist scissors on her left inner forearm.
No confirmed destination, transportation method after she left the residence, or explanation for her disappearance has been established. The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office is investigating; the family and authorities ask anyone who saw, spoke with, or transported her after she left the residence to come forward with information.
