Curtis Endischee, a 49-year-old Diné man, was last seen on October 1, 2017, when his parents drove him to the Greyhound bus station at 3405 West Highway 66 in Gallup, New Mexico. He was described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, 200 to 214 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Family members believed he intended to travel to Albuquerque, where he sometimes stayed at homeless shelters.
No one reported him missing until June 15, 2026, when a family member filed the report with the Gallup Police Department. The reasons for the nearly nine-year delay in reporting have not been made public. Investigators have asked anyone who saw him at the bus station or who may have seen him in the days after October 1, 2017, to come forward.
What happened to Curtis after he was dropped off at the Greyhound station and whether he ever reached Albuquerque remain unknown. Does anyone have information about Curtis’s movements in Gallup or Albuquerque around October 2017?
