I was doing some research into old missing person cases and came across the case of Esther Adam from 1996. It's baffling to me how little we know about where she was last seen or what she was wearing. You'd think in a city as large as Toronto, someone would have seen something or maybe footage would've surfaced from local businesses. Unfortunately, back then, surveillance cameras weren't as common as they are today, so that might be part of it. Has anyone else dived into missing person cases from that era? I'm curious if there's a trend where details like what someone was wearing are often missing in these reports. It's sad to think that these small bits of information might have made a difference in finding clues. I'm not sure if the lack of details is because the police kept them private for investigative reasons or if records just weren’t as detailed back then. Anybody have insights into how cases like Esther's were typically documented during that time?
