I've been following the case of Francis Albert-Cloutier for a while, and one thing that really stands out to me is the strange location where his car was found. An abandoned ATV trail isn't exactly the kind of place you'd park your car if you were planning to meet up with friends or go anywhere specific. Did anyone else notice it's about a 30-minute walk from his house? That's not a short distance, especially considering it was nighttime. I keep thinking about those footprints with long strides—like someone was running. But running from what? Assuming it was Francis running, it makes me wonder if he saw or heard something and felt he had to get out of there fast. Could the area that seemed so quiet and out of the way have been anything but? I've read some suggestions about the possible drug network connection, and while nothing's been confirmed, it does make you question if something more sinister was going on out on that trail. If only that section of the case could be looked into more deeply. Surely, someone out there knows more than they're letting on.
