Has anyone else been following the disappearance of Walter Allan? I’ve been re-reading some details and there’s something that’s been bothering me. His red 2007 Ford Focus was found abandoned in Saint-Barthélemy, but it was nowhere near the route he should have been taking. Considering he was supposed to be heading towards Boucherville, abandoning the car there doesn’t make much sense. Does anyone know if the area where the car was found is known for anything specific, like a particular attraction or perhaps something to do with the numismatic community? It seems odd that he’d go that far north out of his way. Maybe he stopped to see someone or something—that could narrow down potential witnesses or surveillance footage. It’s just so strange that there haven’t been any solid leads after that. If anyone has local knowledge of that area, it could provide some much-needed context to this case.
