Did anyone ever find out why Dr. Ness was flying to Marathon that day? There seems to be a lot of speculation, but I haven't come across any definitive reason for his trip. Given that he was a dentist with a practice nowhere near Marathon, it's really got me curious. Was it a personal trip, something related to work, or just a spur-of-the-moment adventure? It just seems odd that he would take off alone without anyone really knowing why. If anyone has real insights into his life or connections in Marathon, that could help shed some light on this puzzling disappearance. So many questions and so few answers.
