Hey everyone, I've been reading through the discussion on Simon Angeconeb’s disappearance and saw someone mention the potential concussion Simon may have had at the time. It got me thinking about the challenges faced by search teams in areas like Red Lake. Given the dense forests and vast territory, does anyone know if local search and rescue teams employed tracking dogs back then? I've read that scent-tracking dogs can be crucial in locating missing persons, especially if they go off the beaten path. However, considering the timeline here, technology and resources might have been more limited. If anyone has insight or knowledge on how searches were conducted in these remote areas during the early '90s, it would be nice to know more about those efforts. It’s tragic this case remains unresolved, but sharing information might help us learn about the challenges faced in such search operations.
