Has anyone else been following Zelalem Assefa's case from Calgary? It's been on my mind lately, especially because of how elusive any new details seem to be. I find it unsettling that after all these years, there's still so little information out there. I came across a discussion suggesting that he might have used the aliases Papi or Shimelis, which adds another layer of complexity to the case. Could there have been a reason for using those names, maybe something related to his past in Ethiopia? It's like every detail we get just leads to more questions. I hope that someone out there remembers something that might give his family some kind of closure. Any thoughts or leads are welcome in the hopes that sharing might make a difference.
