Just came across some discussions about Brian Bruce Auger's case and something’s been gnawing at me. Does anyone here have any info on the areas around Red Earth Creek where Brian was last seen? I’ve read some past threads about other cases where folks have gone missing in remote or rugged areas, and sometimes it's like searching for a needle in a haystack. I’m wondering if the terrain or weather conditions could have played a role. Given it was December, wouldn't the snow or freezing weather have been a significant factor? It seems so difficult to imagine someone just vanishing without a trace. ?️♂️ I've heard there were some community search efforts at the time, but I'm curious about how extensive they really were considering the weather conditions. Anyone local or with experience in search and rescue have insights on how searches are generally conducted in such challenging environments?
